Occupation	Stella Bogner was a teacher in Washington, Indiana and a recognized genealogy scholar. From 1903 to 1961 she compiled 63 scrapbooks of newspaper articles about people and events in Daviess County. Each scrapbook has an index of the people referenced in the clippings. She also hand copied hundreds of pages of Daviess County Courthouse marriage and death records some dating from 1817. Many of the old records she copied were lost when the courthouse was gutted by fire in1927.
