Copy of a May 8, 1945 letter from Dorothy Riker at the Indiana Historical Bureau in Indianapolis, Indiana to Stella (Mulholland) Bogner of Washington, Indiana. See 2020.FIC.0556.0001 in Archives. Ms. Riker and Ms. Bogner were exchanging information in an attempt to compile a list of the men from Daviess County killed during World War II. The handwritten notes in the letter were likely made by Ms. Bogner, a teacher in Washington and a nationally recognized genealogy researcher. |
