Occupation	Roderick Wright had a life-long passion for flying and soloed in 1912. He enrolled in the Wright Brothers (no relation) flying school in Dayton, Ohio in 1913 and obtained his pilot's license. Later he was an instructor at the school. Mr. Wright was a professional flyer for 20 years from 1913 to 1933. During World War II he tested the parachutes made for the U.S. military by Reliance Manufacturing Co. in Washington. He served two terms in the Indiana House of Representatives, 1953-1957.
Education	Roderick M. Wright graduated in 1907 from Washington High School in Washington, Indiana. In 1913 he attended the Wright Brothers Flying School in Dayton, Ohio.
