Occupation |
Mr. Myers was a World War I veteran. He was a teacher in Steele Township and later at Washington High School where he coached the boys basketball team. He worked for a time at a newspaper in Bicknell, Indiana. In 1920 he purchased the Gilliatt-Killion general store in Plainville, Indiana. He served three terms as Daviess County Clerk. In December 1946 he founded Myers Frozen Food Locker which became the Shurway Food Center in Washington. |
