Description |
Framed March 22, 1977 certificate of authenticity of the Beasley family crest. This is one item in a large collection donated to the Daviess County Museum by Pam (Beasley) Ficklin, the daughter of Everett and Virginia Beasley, about her father and mother. Mr. Beasley was prominent in the Republican Party of Daviess County and was elected to four terms as Sheriff of Daviess County (1971-1978 & 1983-1990). During Mr. Beasley's tenure as Sheriff, Virginia Beasley was initially the Daviess County Jail Matron and later a 2nd Deputy Sheriff. |
