February 10, 1872 charter from the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (framed behind glass) establishing the Eureka Lodge, No. 78 of the Daughters of Rebekah in Washington, Indiana. Several names of charter members are listed on the document. On the reverse is written "#1572" which is a reference to the Thelma Bingham books at the Daviess County Museum. She wrote this item was donated to the Museum by Eleanor Purdue and Bette Marshall. |
