Description |
Sounder telegraph unit used on the B & O Railroad, at the Dispatcher's Office. This unit has the telegraph key, telegraph, and ear & speaking attachments. The tin can is part of the telegraph used to control or amplify the sound. Unit is pictured with A.C. Spillman in collection. Donated by Don Spillman in memory of his parents. Father was a long time employee of the B&O railroad in Washington, and has strong local and familial ties to the industry. |
