A 1941 black and white photograph of Violet (Waggoner) Bayles' fifth grade class at Southside Elementary School in Washington, Indiana. The names of the students are written on the reverse. Also on the reverse is written "1185" which is a reference to the Thelma Bingham books at the Daviess County Museum. She wrote this photo was donated to the Museum by Clarence Selby, who was a student in Ms. Bayles' class (2nd row, 2nd from right). |
