Copies of three undated photographs (ca. 1935-1976) of buildings at Colbert Farms in Daviess County, Indiana. A hybrid seed corn business at Colbert Farms was started in 1935 by Harold L. Colbert (1892-1952) and his brother Tell E. Colbert (1885-1966). Arthur L. "Bud" Colbert (1919-1996), the son of Harold Colbert, continued to operate the business after Harold and Tell passed away. Jack L. Colbert, the younger son of Harold Colbert, in 2023 allowed the Daviess County Museum to scan into the Museum's collection these photos and other documents about the Colbert family. |
