Description |
Eight photographs taken by Kevin Lawrence on January 5, 2024 of the Clerk's Office on the second floor of the Daviess County Courthouse in Washington, Indiana. In the sixth image, the large ledger books with Circuit Court records stored on the metal shelves were removed before these photos were taken. A major alteration of the interior of the courthouse began shortly after these photos were taken. Except for the first floor atrium, all of the rooms in the 1929 courthouse were modified including taking out some walls and removing counters and historic fixtures. |
