Copy of an undated photograph (ca. 1940-1950) of the former Evansville & Indianapolis depot across from the Carnegie Public Library on West Main Street in Washington, Indiana. The E & I Railroad stopped operating in about 1930. This item is part of a large collection of documents and photos owned by Dale Smith about the City of Washington, the railroad industry and the B & O Shops in Washington. Mr. Smith allowed the Daviess County Museum to scan the items into the Museum's collection. |
