Description |
Two copies of a July 4, 1920 black and white photograph of a gasoline station at the northwest corner of South Street and E. 4th Street in Washington, Indiana. The brick building in the right background is the Washington Herald newspaper office. The six men standing next to the service station are (Lt. to Rt.) Mac Vance, Ruby Wirts, Frank Allen, George Padgett, Curt Sharples and C. H. Griffith. Writing on the reverse says: "July 4th 1920 Only Station in Washington." |
