Copy of an undated studio photograph (ca. 1890-1900) of Dr. James F. Parks of Cumback, Indiana. On the reverse is written, "Dr. Parks given by Mrs. Bill Goodwin." Accompanying the photo was a label on which is written, "Dr. James F. Parks at Cumback." Cumback, Indiana is a rural, unincorporated community in Veale Township, Daviess County. The community was named for William Cumback, a U.S. Representative from Indiana. A post office was established at Cumback in 1881, but it was discontinued in 1905. |
