Plainville, Indiana is a town in Steele Township of Daviess County, Indiana. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 476. Plainville was laid out in 1855. The mascot for Plainville High School was the Midgets. The Plainville, Odon and Elnora school systems in 1968 were consolidated into the North Daviess Community School Corp. Plainville High School after 44 years closed on May 15, 1968. |
