Occupation	Mr. Slimp was a teacher for six terms in Elmore Township in Daviess County, Indiana. He moved to Odon, Indiana in 1881 and taught school there. He was elected Clerk of the Daviess Circuit Cout in 1890 and began his duties in March 10, 1892.
