Occupation	Mr. Routt was a World War I veteran having served in the U.S. Army. He joined an architectural firm in Vincennes, Indiana which became Sutton & Routt and then Lester W. Routt Associates, Inc. For over 50 years he designed and supervised construction of buildings in Southern Indiana and Kentucky.
Education	Lester W. Routt graduated in 1911 from Washington High School in Washington, Indiana. He studied architecture and engineering at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, the University of Wisconsin and Liverpool University in England.
