Sister Joseph Louise was the principal at Washington Catholic High School in Washington, Indiana for 23 years from 1968 to 1991. She led the school with a firm and loving devotion. She also had a sense of humor. She was affectionately known by the students as "Green Bay." During a pep session at the Bird Cage, Sister Louise emerged wearing a Green Packers football jersey. The students went wild. She wanted them to know she was aware of her label and that she was not offended. |
