Occupation	Mr. Hand was a World War II U. S. Army veteran. He served with the 4th Infantry Division and landed in the first wave at Utah Beach on D-Day. He also fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He worked 37 years as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service in Washington, Indiana. He had his own heating and air conditioning business in Washington. He was an IHSAA baseball and basketball official for many years.
Education	Leo "Kenny" Hand graduated in 1940 from Washington High School in Washington, Indiana.
