Mr. Beitman came to America from Germany in 1854. He first settled in Petersburg, Indiana and then went to Vincennes, Indiana. In 1859 he came to Washington, Indiana and engaged in a business partnership with his brother, Emanuel Beitman. In 1863 the brothers opened a clothing business in Washington, R & E. Beitman. |
