Name	Bateman, E. Charles
Spouse	Lena Bateman
Occupation	Mr. Bateman worked at the B & O Railroad Co. in Washington, Indiana. He started at the City of Washington Fire Department in 1926 for a four year term. He was a merchant policeman from 1930 to 1935. He was Chief of the Washington Fire Department in 1930 and again in 1940. He retired July 1, 1958.
