Minutes of meetings of the White River Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution in Washington, Indiana from 1916 to 1932. On pages 6 to 10 is a "History of White River Chapter" written by Stella Bogner in May 1941. The club was organized October 6, 1906 with a meeting at the home of Elva Cabel who had been appointed the "Organizing Regent" by the State Regent. The charter was granted October 22, 1907. On pages 124-125, 160-161, 244-245 and 266-269 are lists of members. The names in the People Field are just a portion of the individuals referenced in this book. On the inside cover is a label on which is printed "#395" which is a reference to the Thelma Bingham books at the Daviess County Museum. She wrote this book was part of a collection of "Materials" from the Washington DAR that was donated to the Museum on June 28, 1972 for "Regent Mrs. Doris Harris." |
