November 2, 1948 Certificate and Memoranda of Total Votes Cast in 8th Precinct of Washington, Indiana in 1948 general election. Victor W. DiCanio ran unsuccessfully for the Indiana General Assembly against Russell Colbert although DiCanio did receive more votes than Colbert in the 8th Precinct. Mr. DiCanio was a long time teacher and administrator at the Washington Public School System. DiCanio for many years was Chairman of the Daviess County Democratic Party and was always active in support of Democratic Party candidates. Victor and his wife, Dicie E. DiCanio, resided at 412 S.E. 11th Street in Washington. |
