The volunteers at the Daviess County Museum strive to be as accurate as possible when cataloging the Museum's collection. But sometimes we have limited provenance about artifacts and often cannot identify people in photographs. If you have more information about any item in the Museum's online collection, we encourage you to share that knowledge with us.

Handwritten index prepared by Stella (Mulholland) Bogner (1875-1961) from Washington, Indiana of marriages from 1868 to 1920. In this index Ms. Bogner provides an alphabetized list of people (from Roarty to Sullivan), to whom they married, and their date of marriage. Occasionally she notes the person's date of birth and the name(s) of a parent. On the front cover is written "8" and "Roarty - S to Sullivan." The names listed in the People Field are just a small fraction of persons referenced in this booklet. In 1939 Ms. Bogner, a teacher in Washington, was awarded a Certificate of Merit in Genealogy and was nominated as a Fellow of The Institute of American Genealogy in Chicago, Illinois. This item can be viewed in the Research Room of the Daviess County Museum.
