June 21, 1983 edition (pages 3-4) of the Tri-County News, a newspaper published in Washington, Indiana. Most of page 3 is an article about Joseph B, Robert C. and Ray A. Graham from Washington and the Graham-Paige automobile. The Graham brothers owned a company that manufactured trucks in Evansville, Indiana. In 1921 their company entered into a partnership with Dodge Brothers Company to jointly build trucks. After Dodge bought the truck business in 1926, the Graham brothers in 1927 acquired Paige-Detroit Motor Car Company and began production of the Graham-Paige automobile at its facility in Wayne, Michigan. On page 4 is an article about the J. Ervin Graber farm in Loogootee, Indiana. |
