Scrapbook of newspaper clippings and documents about people in Daviess County, Indiana compiled by Clara (Proctor) Reynolds who donated the collection to the Daviess County Museum on October 22, 1979. Included is an August 6, 1947 article published in a Washington, Indiana newspaper listing 100 people from Daviess County who were killed or died in military service during World War II. Many of the items have written on them "#808" which is a reference to the Thelma Bingham books at the Daviess County Museum in which Ms. Reynolds' donation is noted. This item can be viewed in the Research Room at the Daviess County Museum. |
