Pages 1-2 and 13-14 of the December 2, 1985 edition of The Washington Times-Herald published in Washington, Indiana. The front page story concerns the fire that severely damaged the interior of the Daviess County Courthouse in Washington. The fire was caused by arson and burned for several hours before it was reported by Father Robert Bultman, priest at St. Simon Catholic Church in Washington, at 7.57 a.m. on Sunday, December 1. The extensive damage required several months to repair. The person or persons responsible for the arson were never charged.
