Certificate of Attainment presented to Everett K. Beasley on his successful completion of the course, Administration of the Sheriffs Office, from December 14 to December 18, 1970. This is one item in a large collection donated to the Daviess County Museum by Pam (Beasley) Ficklin, the daughter of Everett and Virginia Beasley, about her father and mother. Mr. Beasley was prominent in the Republican Party of Daviess County and was elected to four terms as Sheriff of Daviess County (1971-1978 & 1983-1990). During Mr. Beasley's tenure as Sheriff, Virginia Beasley was first the Daviess County Jail Matron and later a 2nd Deputy Sheriff. |
