January 27, 1969 handwritten letter from Marilla (Alford) Blau of Ashland, Kansas to the Daviess County Historical Society (DCHS) in Washington, Indiana asking for information about her great, great grandparents, James and Hannah (Baker) Alford, who first settled Alfordsville, Indiana. Also included are subsequent letters from Ms. Blau to William Brooks Allen at DCHS on February 17 and April 15, 1969 and two self-addressed return envelopes to Ms. Blau with 5 cent stamps. |
