Scope & Content |
Twelve promissory notes signed jointly by John W. O'Bryan and Isaac F. Boyd from 1932 to 1937. All of the notes were payable to either the Farmers Bank in Odon, Indiana or the First National Bank of Odon. On the reverse of each is written "748" which is a reference to the Thelma Bingham books at the Daviess County Museum. She wrote these notes were part of a collection donated to the Museum on June 11, 1979 by Robert Myers who purchased the items at the John W. O'Byran family sale. According to the 1936 Washington City Directory, John W. O'Bryan lived at Rt. 1, Plainville, Indiana with his wife, Mary A. O'Bryan. Isaac F. Boyd also lived at Rt. 1, Plainville with his wife, Sarah Boyd. |
