Pages B6 to B8 of the September 30, 2014 Washington Times-Herald newspaper in Washington, Indiana with a two page article about the renovation and the planned October reopening of the Indiana Theatre on Main Street in Washington. The article included vintage photos and a history of the theatre, built in 1926, that had been closed since December 11, 2010. Terre Haute businessman Brent Barnhart bought the theatre and has been renovating the historic structure. The Daviess County Economic Development Corporation Foundation provided financial assistance for the renovation project. In 2023 the Indiana Theatre was purchased by Dusty Davis, Ryan Dashner and Sean Terry. |
