November 6, 1965 column, "Sharing Outdoors . . " written by Samuel B. Lutz in a Washington, Indiana newspaper. Mr. Lutz writes mostly about the recent luck, or lack thereof, of fisherman in Daviess County. He also wrote about the recently completed Glendale Fish and Game Area in southern Daviess County and wondered, ". . . when will they let the big lake fill up. Well, fellows, we will just have to wait until the suits are settled in court." He provided some history about the Rockport to Portersville Road in the early 19th century. |
