January 24, 1950 letter from Lee Whitehall, an attorney in Attic, Indiana, to Paul G. Smiley about the proposed alterations to the Masonic Temple at 212 E. Main Street in Washington, Indiana. See 2022.0068.0108 of four drawings detailing the alterations. This letter was purchased November 4, 2022 for the Daviess County Museum at the Masonic Lodge in Glendale, Indiana. The Masonic Temple in Washington was constructed in 1868. In 2005 the building was purchased by the Daviess County Historical Society and now houses the Daviess County Museum. |
