Before 1881 Odon, Indiana was known as Clarksburg or Clarks Prairie. The names of the churches in Daviess County in the book are: Clarksburg, Mt. Olive, Pleasant Hill, Union, Raglesville, Lucas, Tolberts, Mt. Zion, Pleasant Grove, Liberty, Prairie Creek, Nugent Schoolhouse and Mud Pike. The names in the People Field are just a portion of the individuals listed in this book. This book was donated to the Daviess County Museum on October 7, 2011 by Mary Doane. |
