April, May and June 1979 edition of "The Forks," a magazine published by the Daviess County Genealogical Society. Betty McCafferty was president and Eleanor Purdue was secretary. This edition contains four pages with lists of Daviess County marriage records from 1831 to1850, three pages of probate records from 1836-1837, four pages of "Assessors' Book" (1872) for Washington Township of Daviess County, and a copy of a report about Robert Crockwell Stephens (1802-1887). There is an index in the back of the magazine listing the names of the people referenced in the magazine. The names listed in the People Field are just a portion of the individuals mentioned in the magazine. This was one item in collection of artifacts donated 2021 to the Daviess County Museum by the Lawrence County Museum in Bedford, Indiana.
