Undated two page article from "Odd Fellows Talisman" (ca. 1905) about the Arthur family in Daviess County, Indiana which was reported to be "the largest family of all Odd Fellows in the world." The seven brothers belonged to IOOF Star Lodge No. 236 in Glendale and the mother and four daughters belonged to the Rebekah Lodge in Glendale. The father, James Robinson Arthur (1833-1905), was a charter member of Star Lodge No. 236. |
