But sometimes we have limited provenance about artifacts and often cannot identify people in photographs. Roster of the officers and members of Pythagorean Lodge, No. 118, Knights of Pythias in Washington, Indiana as of August 31, 1897. The two page roster was printed on the back of The Baltimore & Ohio Southwestern Railway Company stationery. This roster was placed in the cornerstone of the Walnut Street School in Washington, Indiana when it was constructed in 1897. The cornerstone was opened September 17, 1971 and the contents donated to the Daviess County Museum. See 2018.FIC.4613.0001 to 2018.FIC.4613.0013 in Archives.
