"1930 State Champions" (File 28) compiled by Donald R. Cosby (1931-2023). It contains copies of several 1930 newspaper clippings about the Washington High School Hatchets winning the Indiana High School Basketball Championship. This file is in a four drawer, metal filing cabinet that has 153 research files compiled by Mr. Cosby who was Daviess County Historian from 2016 to 2022. See 2023.0046 for an index of his files. Mr. Cosby wrote three books: "Revisiting The Past" (2012), "Legends, Legacy and Folklore" (2015) and "My Scrap Book" (2018). His writings and research are now stored in the Research Room (Rm 303) of the Daviess County Museum where Mr. Cosby had an office. See 2023.0046.0001 to 2023.0046.0153 for separate catalogs of each file. Mr. Cosby's collection can be viewed in the Research Room. |
