The volunteers at the Daviess County Museum strive to be as accurate as possible when cataloging the Museum's collection. But sometimes we have limited provenance about artifacts and often cannot identify people in photographs. 1953 newspaper article. A covered dish dinner honoring Rev. and Mrs. John J. McDonald at the Veale Creek Baptist Church. Rev. McDonald and his family were leaving the pastorate to return to their home state of Mississippi and work with the Baptist church at Goodman, Mississippi.
