Flier distributed by David ("Dave") W. Abel during his 2007 campaign for reelection as Mayor of Washington, Indiana. Mr. Abel, a Republican, was elected Mayor in 1983 defeating the Democratic incumbent, Leo J. Sullivan. He was defeated by the Democratic Mayoral candidate Charles ("Tom") Baumert in 1987. Mr. Abel ran again for Mayor in 2003 defeating Mr. Baumert. The Democractic Mayoral candidate in 2007 was Larry J. Haag who defeated Mr. Abel. |
