But sometimes we have limited provenance about artifacts and often cannot identify people in photographs. Four copies of "The Daviess County Hospital Washington, Indiana 1941," a pamphlet of photographs of the staff, administration and doctors at the Daviess County Hospital in Washington. On the inside cover of one booklet is written the signature of Helen Albietz who was the laboratory technician at the hospital and is pictured on page 12. In that copy some of the photos of individuals have the signature of that person. In the second copy on the inside cover is written, "Return to Bruce Rogers." On the inside cover of the third copy is written "#654" which is a reference to the Thelma Bingham books at the Daviess County Museum. She wrote this item was donated to the Museum on August 31, 1978 by Helen New.
