Two copies of the report submitted by Kathleen J. Cavanaugh of Cannelburg, Indiana explaining her design of the Daviess County flag that won top prize, along with her Daviess County emblem, in the 1975 "Heritage In Design" contest sponsored by the Daviess County Bicentennial Committee. One copy is mounted on a light blue poster. This is one item in a collection of documents and newspapers articles about Ms. Cavanaugh. Ms. Cavanaugh's emblem and flag were donated to the Daviess County Museum and are on display in Rm 300. |
